Wapiti Box was founded by two passionate elk hunters who were tired of their prized elk ivories kicking around the house. It seemed like they either ended up in a zip lock bag in a junk drawer, in a jar in a sock drawer or lost. Because of this, they set out to create a solution to display and store their own elk ivories. After building display boxes for themselves and getting hounded by family and friends to build more, they decided to make Wapiti Box available to the public.
